Job Summary: As a CAD Designer II in this position, you will independently perform design and plan production tasks using CAD at the direction of the Project Engineer or Project Manager. You will be involved in projects from the conceptual phase, through the initial planning submittals, and final design. You can expect to work on wide variety of project types, including private site development, public utility, public roadway, and structural plans.
==> Office Schedule: Monday to Friday
==> Expected Hours: No less than 40 Per Week
==> Base Salary: $59280 to $72800
==> Hourly Rate: $28.50 to $35.00
Key Responsibilities:- Import topographic surveys and creating 3D surface models.
- Exhibit creation and edits.
- Draft project designs with guidance and input from an engineer.
- Perform limited independent design work including grading design and layout.
- Plan Production including sheet set-up.
- Perform work to Company drafting standards with minimal input.
- Perform plan mark-up corrections.
Basic Qualifications:- Proficiency in CAD software, MicroStation preferred.
- Strong drafting skills and experience in creating detailed plans.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Associate's degree in a civil engineering-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in site design and drafting.
