Job summary

Autocam, a division of NN, Inc., seeks a CAD Designer to produce working drawings for manufacturing and interpret customer sketches into our standard format. The role emphasizes GD&T application and tooling design from rough concepts, within a quality-driven environment.

You will create and modify operation control plans and layouts, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with the Quality department to document gaging and ensure QMS/EMS compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of CAD experience or SolidWorks Certification and/or Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering Design.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions under indirect supervision.
• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications.

SUMMARY

Produce working drawings for all areas of manufacturing. Interpret customer drawings and technical sketches and translate them into the company’s standard format.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications.
