Job summary

optiBPO is hiring an entry‑level Drafting / Estimator who will work remotely with a US‑based team. You will consult with dealers, create floor plans and 3D renderings using CET, SketchUp and AutoCAD, and prepare quotes with accurate discounts.

Strong communication and detail‑oriented skills are essential; a design degree is preferred. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of related experience and be proficient with Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Update quotes promptly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service and purchasing to execute projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with furniture dealers on their upcoming projects and ask diagnostic questions to determine their client’s requirements, budget, timeline, workstation count, and space planning needs.
• Use CET, SketchUp, and AutoCAD to create floor plans and 3D renderings.
• Use independent judgment to make recommendations to dealers on which product would be best suited for their office space.
• Accurately apply applicable discounts where needed and create quotes for client approval.
• Update quotes and make necessary revisions promptly to ensure the project is accurate and complete.
• As appropriate, use the design process and communications with dealers to increase Clear Design product sales on opportunities.
• Apply feedback from the sales manager and other team members to use products that contribute to achieving and growing margin targets.
• Collaborate with customer service and purchasing team to ensure each project is created and ordered correctly.

Requirments

• At least one year of related experience
• This position requires a high level of attention to detail
• Basic mathematical skills required
• Space planning experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Strong customer service skills with a desire to go above and beyond to assist others
• Knowledge of CET, SketchUp, and AutoCAD preferred but not required
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint
• A college degree in Design preferred
