Job summary

AfterQuery is seeking CAD professionals for remote, project-based work with hands-on modeling and drafting experience. You will complete a variety of CAD tasks on a per-project basis, producing professional models and drawings.

Work is asynchronous with 10–20 hours per week commitments and flexible scheduling, designed to bolster your portfolio and income. This role offers strong pay, schedule flexibility, and exposure to a YC-backed startup environment.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in CAD design, drafting, or mechanical/product design.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major CAD platform (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, CATIA, NX, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to produce clean, well-structured models and drawings to professional standards.

This is a remote, project-based role for CAD professionals with hands-on experience in 3D modeling and technical drafting. You will complete a variety of modeling, drafting, and design-review tasks, assigned on a project-by-project basis.
