Job summary

Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a skilled Survey Drafter to design accurate survey drawings, plats, topographic maps, and worksheets using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Deed Reader Pro. The role involves GIS property research, researching rights-of-way and deeds, drafting as-builts, and creating layouts for paperspace.

Collaboration with team members is essential to ensure CAD standards and surveying terminology are correctly applied.

Qualifications

• Draw As-builts and be able to compare to the plans.
• Determine buffers and setbacks.
• Create paperspace layouts as needed.

• Understanding and application of CAD standards
• Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with surveying terminology
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work on a team
