Job summary

Summit Design and Engineering Services in Asheville, NC is seeking a Survey Drafter with 2+ years experience. You will draft surveys, plats, topographic maps, and worksheets using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS tools.

Responsibilities include researching rights-of-way, easements, and deeds, drawing as-builts, and preparing paperspace layouts. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to coordinate with field crews and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years survey drafting experience or equivalent education such as an Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Understanding and application of CAD standards
• Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with surveying terminology
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work on a team
