Job summary

Dual Temp Company is seeking a BIM / CAD Plumbing & Piping Designer to develop coordinated 3D Revit models for plumbing systems and to produce comprehensive construction documents for large-scale HVAC projects.

You will verify as-built conditions, perform field measurements, and resolve routing conflicts with other trades using Revit and Navisworks, while collaborating with Project Managers and the BIM Manager.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4+ years in mechanical modeling, preferably plumbing/piping.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (1–2 years required).

Responsibilities

• Develop coordinated 3D Revit models for plumbing and piping systems.
• Produce construction documents: plans, isometrics, spools, and schedules.
• Review submittals and equipment data for constructability.
• Conduct field measurements and verify as-built conditions.
• Resolve routing conflicts with other trades using Revit/Navisworks.
• Create sleeve/penetration drawings and locate concrete pads.
• Support prefabrication efforts and generate spool drawings.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Field Foremen, and the BIM Manager.

Join our dynamic team as a BIM / CAD Plumbing & Piping Designer, where your expertise will drive innovative system designs and detailed modeling for complex plumbing and piping projects. Dual Temp is expanding our BIM/CAD Department and seeking a Plumbing & Piping Designer experienced with commercial mechanical systems. This role creates accurate Revit models and coordinated drawings to support fabrication and field installation on large-scale HVAC and plumbing projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Procore, Drawboard/Bluebeam.
