Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD).
• Experience with 3D modeling, large assemblies, and technical drawing creation.
• Proficiency with PTC Creo, Windchill/PDMLink, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and manufacturing processes.
• Associate's degree in a related technical field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings from established engineering concepts and designs.
• Develop technical documentation and production drawings for complex mechanical systems and equipment.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and scientists to interpret design requirements, manufacturing processes, materials, and project schedules.
• Support large, complex assemblies consisting of hundreds to thousands of components.
• Assist with configuration management, document control, and design documentation activities.

Compensation for the CAD Designer includes:

• Salary Range: $100,000-118,000 **depending on experience**
