Job summary

Integrated Talent Strategies in Ohio is seeking a design engineer to develop, design, and improve products and systems from customer requirements using CAD software and engineering calculations as required.

You will design company products using SolidWorks, create drawings and BOMs for cost estimates and manufacturing, and provide field and shop support. Lead engineering tasks on sales orders and communicate with customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering-related field with 1+ year of related experience, or Associate degree with 4+ years of related experience.
• Proficient with SolidWorks CAD software and 2D/3D CAD tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design company products using SolidWorks or other engineering software.
• Create engineering drawings for proposals and manufacturing.
• Create bills of material and routings for cost estimates and manufacturing.
• Produce owner's manuals, test procedures, and other engineering deliverables.
• Perform engineering calculations for sizing equipment components.
• Provide technical support to shop personnel during manufacturing.
• Provide field support of company products as required.
• Lead engineering tasks on assigned sales orders including customer interaction and project management.
