LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated CAD Design Drafter – SolidWorks to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in transforming engineering and sales input into precise, production-ready drawings. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and sales teams to bring concepts to life and ensure design integrity throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D and 3D models from verbal and written specifications.
• Create and revise fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Prepare multiple design iterations for review and refinement.
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for custom projects.
• Maintain drawing libraries and manage revisions.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support.
• Assist in preparing engineering documentation for client submittals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate’s Degree in drafting, design technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes and manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs!

Compensation Range: $21/hr-$31/hr
