Oregon Metal Fabrication is seeking a detail-oriented candidate with SolidWorks experience to model parts and generate detailed drawing packages for commercial and structural fabrication. The role involves conceptualizing projects, determining critical dimensions and tolerances, and reading blueprints to ensure accuracy across shop and field drawings.

Software training will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks modeling and detailed drawing packages.
• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication helps concept projects and tolerances.
• Weld specifications familiarity and AWS symbols knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Assist in concepting fabrication projects and determining critical dimensions and tolerances.
• Prepare shop drawings, assembly drawings, field drawings and concept designs for clients.

Job Description

We have been in the industry for over 20 years, andspecializein commercial,industrial, structural, and custom fabrication. We generate shop drawings for all projects in the shop, as well as assembly drawings, field drawings, and concept designs for clients.

The ideal Candidate:

The perfect person will manage theirtime well, stay organized, and take pride in their work. Additionally, they will have experience with Solidworks doing modeling and detailed drawing packages. Experience with manufacturing, metal fabrication, or construction would benefit a candidate such that they could conceptualize projects and determine critical dimensions, tolerances, and other relevant information.

Software / industry specific training will be provided for the right candidate.

General skills needed:

• CADSoftware experience
• Blueprint reading / generation
• General computer / technologyskills
• General math skills
• Prior construction / mechanical experience a bonus
• Familiarity with weld specifications and AWS symbols
