Zusammenfassung

Blue Bird Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician – CAD to support manufacturing by maintaining CAD drawings, developing CNC programs for the plywood router, and keeping engineering documents up to date. You will report to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering and collaborate across departments to meet safety, quality, and operational standards.

The role requires proficiency in CATIA and DraftSight, plus the ability to interpret technical drawings and translate floor

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated proficiency in technical drafting using CATIA and DraftSight.
• Technical knowledge to interpret engineering drawings, maintain documentation, and create/update CNC programs for plywood router.

Aufgaben

• Create, update, and maintain CAD drawings and databases for facility layouts, jigs, and equipment.
• Take measurements on the production floor to verify facility dimensions.
• Interpret rough sketches and marked prints to prepare or revise technical drawings.
• Create and maintain CNC programs for plywood routing to support production.
• Support purchasing activities for departmental materials, tools, equipment, and other needs.
• Maintain engineering documents (JES, work instructions, PFMEAs) ensuring records are accurate.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and other departments to gather info and clarify requirements.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting priorities, quality standards, and timelines.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
