i4 Dental Lab in Atlanta, GA is seeking a CAD/CAM Designer with 5+ years of hands-on dental design to own All-on-X and other complex implant cases. You will work alongside technicians, milling and printing operators, and local surgeons to deliver precise restorations on tight turnaround schedules.

This on-site, full-time role offers collaboration, mentorship for junior designers, and opportunities to refine digital workflows using exocad or 3Shape in a high-tech lab.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on dental CAD/CAM design experience in full-arch implants.
• Proficiency with 3Shape Dental System or exocad.
• Knowledge of occlusion, esthetics, and implant components.
• Experience mentoring fellow designers.
• Ability to balance quality with high-volume production.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create high-end full-arch implant restorations (All-on-X, hybrids, bars, crowns, bridges).
• Mentor junior designers with design feedback and case reviews.
• Refine digital workflows and SOPs.
• Review scans and Rx instructions; perform final QC before milling/printing; liaise with clinicians.
• Troubleshoot difficult cases and meet turnaround times.

You will work side by side with technicians, milling and printing operators, and the surgeons and restorative dentists we serve across the metro area, helping us deliver precise, beautiful restorations on tight Atlanta turnaround schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Design: Create high-end full-arch implant restorations, including All-on-X, hybrids, bars, crowns, and bridges, using exocad or 3Shape.
• Technical Guidance: Mentor junior designers in our Atlanta lab with clear design feedback, case reviews, and hands‑on coaching.
• Workflow Optimization: Help refine our digital workflows and build standard operating procedures that raise production quality and consistency.
• Quality Control & Collaboration: Review incoming digital scans and Rx instructions, complete final QC checks before milling or 3D printing, and talk directly with Georgia clinicians about complex cases.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot difficult cases, offer creative design solutions, and consistently meet agreed turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on dental CAD/CAM design, with a strong focus on full‑arch implant cases.
• Software Mastery: Proficiency with 3Shape Dental System, exocad, or comparable platforms.
• Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of occlusion, dental esthetics, implant components, and digital restorative principles.
• Mentorship Ability: Experience in, or a real desire for, training and supporting fellow designers.
• Efficiency: Ability to balance excellent quality with high-volume production in a fast‑paced lab.
• Bonus Points: Familiarity with multiple implant systems, digital smile design (DSD), or process‑improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma.
