Dental Metrics Maven in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced CAD/CAM Designer - Fixed Restoration (3Shape) to lead advanced fixed restoration workflows. The role emphasizes 3Shape CAD design, split-file abutments, and implant case independence in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities include crowns and custom abutment design, scanning, nesting for milling, and collaboration across departments to ensure quality and turnaround. On-site, full-time with strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Direct CAD design experience in a dental lab.
• Advanced 3Shape design capability is mandatory.
• Experience designing custom abutments with split-file method.
• Experience with implant workflows, scan bodies and Encode systems.
• Ability to manage high-volume cases independently.

Responsibilities

• Design crowns and custom abutments using 3Shape with split-file workflows.
• Independently design implant abutments with precision.
• Scan models and cases when required and nest for milling.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Pre-finish and handle green-state zirconia as needed.
