Responsibilities
- Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Deliver high-quality code deliverables and lead validation for all types of testing
- Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and license management
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure application usage
- Provide training and user support for new features or applications as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field
- At least 11+ years of hands-on experience in CAD/CAE applications development, support, and maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience coordinating with software vendors or internal IT
- Ability to work in rotational shifts as required by the role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of planning and driving support transitions for engineering application support teams
- Experience with license server management and optimizations
- Familiarity with cloud-based or virtualized engineering environments
- ITIL certification or familiarity with service management practices
- Scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
