Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer seeks a Process-Mechanical Revit Designer to work with staff engineers and senior CAD/BIM designers in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on designing Process Mechanical piping in Revit to prepare contract documents for water, wastewater, and pump station facilities.

This full-time position requires coordinating with multiple disciplines and delivering accurate CAD/BIM outputs, while advancing piping layouts and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Completion of a technical school with CAD design certificate or A.S. degree with emphasis on Revit MEP preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience using Revit MEP and AutoCAD required.
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for small to medium sized projects
• Some design experience with water and/or wastewater projects desired
• Basic understanding of process mechanical piping, chemical piping, and associated pipe materials and fittings

Responsibilities

• Creation of Revit models, Revit families, and CAD base files for use in creating contract documents.
• Ability to design piping layouts in Revit to produce enlarged plans, sections, and details for various process mechanical systems
• Coordinate with other disciplines to help resolve design conflicts and challenges.
• Executing redlines from Engineers and senior CAD/BIM Designers
• Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards
• Ambition to learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other designers

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Process-Mechanical Revit Designer with knowledge and experience designing Process Mechanical piping in Revit to work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD/BIM Designers. This position will include the design and production of contract documents for various Water, Wastewater and Pump Station facilities projects.

Key Responsibilities:
