Job summary

Programmers seeks a CAD Customization Developer/Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA, to create and maintain automation solutions across major CAD platforms. You will implement APIs and toolkits to streamline part modeling, drawings, and data handling, and collaborate with engineering teams to convert requirements into robust CAD applications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CAD customization experience, proficiency with at least one CAD API (NX Open, Creo TOOLKIT, SolidWorks API, or CATIA API), and

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in CAD customization/development.
• Experience with at least one CAD API or toolkit such as NX Open, Creo TOOLKIT, SolidWorks API, or CATIA API/CAA.
• Proficiency in programming languages suitable for CAD customization (C++, C#, Python, Java).
• Knowledge of OOP concepts and debugging software applications.
• Understanding of CAD concepts such as parts/models, assemblies, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAD customization and automation solutions.
• Work with major CAD platforms (NX/Open, Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA) and their APIs.
• Develop applications using CAD APIs/toolkits.
• Automate repetitive CAD processes.
• Create custom utilities, dialogs, and tools within CAD apps.
• Work with CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and engineering data.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical CAD solutions.
