Job summary

AgeWave Solutions is seeking a CAD automation specialist who blends architecture/engineering production knowledge with software development. You’ll work with leadership, CAD production, and software teams to improve workflows, automate drawing tasks, and integrate CAD with ERPs and databases.

You’ll develop AutoCAD tools using AutoLISP, C#/.NET, and Python, build dynamic blocks, and implement QA/QC and plan-checking tools to raise accuracy and speed across projects.

Qualifications

• Develop AutoCAD automation tools using AutoLISP, C#/.NET, Python, AutoCAD APIs, scripts, and related technologies.
• Build and improve dynamic blocks, intelligent content, templates, standards, and automated drawing workflows.
• Build automated tools that compare project requirements or contracts against drawings to identify discrepancies.
• Develop automated QA/QC and plan-checking tools.
• Extract information from existing CAD drawings and convert legacy drawing knowledge into structured, reusable data.

Responsibilities

• Develop AutoCAD automation tools and tools that improve drawing production and quality.
• Create automated checks to compare drawings with project requirements and contracts.
• Build QA/QC and plan-checking tools to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Extract data from CAD drawings for structured reuse and analytics.
• Integrate CAD workflows with external systems such as ERP and databases.
• Document tools and train teams on new systems.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance the production environment.
