Job summary

The First Electronics Corporation in Boston, MA is seeking a Testing Technician for the Quality Control Department. You will test cable and wire products, read blueprints, and document results to ensure quality and compliance with ITAR guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and electrical tests on cable and wire products to ensure they meet performance requirements.
• Perform functional tests on products as designed when required.
• Document test results and maintain internal documentation database.
• Identify and report non-conforming items to Quality Manager.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
