Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Sherman, TX is seeking a Cable Tray Material Handler for the 3rd shift. You will kit production parts, move and deliver materials, stock lines, and keep aisles clear using powered equipment.

Responsibilities include 5S and continuous improvement, SAP part identification, and coordinating with purchasing to resolve shortages. The role requires physical stamina, lifts up to 75 lbs, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside in Sherman, TX area.
• No immigration sponsorship is offered by Eaton (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, H1B etc. not supported).

Responsibilities

• Use ZORDERS to prioritize production needs.
• Initiate ordering and pickup of crib parts or boxes from BOD.
• Identify pending kit part shortages and request assistance from purchasing.
• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement throughout the department.
• Utilize SAP for part identification and label parts.
• Unload scrap and materials as required.
• Identify and set aside leftover parts after production runs.
• Maintain database for storing pallets in warehouse racks.
• Load materials into machinery or racks.
• Other duties as assigned.
