Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Cable Assembly Test Technician to join our Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Cable Assembly Test Technician to join our team at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. The successful candidate will support different programs ranging from commercial customers to DoD customers. The technician will be responsible for building cables in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities include cable construction, basic testing, troubleshooting, and repair.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years of prior relevant experience with
• Working knowledge of specialized tools and equipment used during cable assembly process.
• Testing Cables for continuity, shorts, dielectric standing voltage, and insulation resistance
• Test Coax cables for insertion loss and reflection coefficient
• Using equipment such as digital multimeters and cable-eye tester
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance.
