Job summary

TEKsystems seeks contractors for on-site data-center cabling in Social Circle, GA. You will install and troubleshoot fiber cabling, racks, patch panels, and related backbones, both inside and outside facilities. Experience with IDC terminations and conduit routing is preferred.

The role involves hands-on installation, grounding, and equipment wiring, with a focus on safety and precision in fast-paced environments.

• Operate hand and power tools for cabling tasks

This is a Contract position based out of Social Circle, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Description

• Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
• Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels).
• Looking for individuals that can work inside and outside building out the data centers.
• Pulls wire and/or oversees and directs conduit installations and wire pulling.
• Operates tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)
