Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Cable Technician for a large data center build in Red Oak, TX. This on-site position runs 12-hour shifts (day or night) and operates 7 days a week. The project is expected through February 2027, with potential extension into March/April.

You will install and test fiber and copper cables, read blueprints, and follow all safety regulations while working in a demanding data center environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in installing, pulling, terminating, and testing cable.
• Must have all required PPE and safety equipment.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, OSHA 10 certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and crawl/bend/stretch into tight spaces.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.
• Team lead experience is a plus.
