Job summary

RIGHTECH is seeking a Cable Technician for the Ft. Myers, FL area on a contract-to-hire basis. The start date is in two weeks, with duties including pulling, testing, and terminating CAT5/CAT6 cables and installing cable support structures in commercial and new construction environments.

Applicants should be prepared for occasional overtime and must wear required PPE (hardhat, high-visibility vest, safety gloves, steel-toed boots, and goggles). Basic cabling hand tools are used on site.

Qualifications

• Experience pulling, testing, and terminating CAT5/CAT6 cables.
• Experience in commercial or new construction environments.
• Fiber experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull, test, and terminate CAT5/CAT6 cables.
• Install cable support structures and routing in buildings.
