Job summary

Anistar Technologies in St. George, SC is seeking a Cable Technician to assist with installation, termination, and testing of voice and data cables in new construction environments, and to work with security/access control equipment.

Candidates should be comfortable climbing ladders and lifts, able to lift 50–75 lbs, and willing to collaborate with a large team on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with commercial new construction projects.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms (boom or scissor lift).
• Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the pulling/installation of new fiber/cat6 cables in a new construction environment.
• Rack and cabinet fabrication and installation.
• Installation of cable support structures – fiber tray, cable tray, ladder rack, etc.
• Manual labor – moving boxes and materials around the job site.
• Must be able to follow directions and learn.
• Must have prior commercial new construction experience.
• Must be able to work with a large team.

Location: St. George, SC Pay rate $24-29/HR

Position Summary: Anistar is seekingexperienced and entry-level structured cabling technicians to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security/access control equipment. MUST be comfortable working from ladders and lifts.
