A leading company is seeking entry-level technicians to travel to customer sites in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on installing and maintaining equipment, ensuring safety standards, and providing high-quality customer service. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in a related field and experience in cabling and installation.
Description
Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards.
Operate material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA requirements.
Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work environment.
Keep records of performance reports and activities.
Interact professionally with all levels of personnel inside and outside the company.
Develop and conduct training on safe equipment operation, demonstrating skills to trainees, including team members and customers.
Act as a communication link between the customer and the company to ensure effective service delivery.
Provide high-quality service to maximize customer satisfaction.
Contribute to generating substantial annual revenues.
Work independently without direct supervision.
Perform basic math operations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Complete compliance and job-specific training.
Replace defective parts, reassemble, and repair batteries and related equipment. Install new equipment at customer facilities to ensure full functionality per specifications.
Provide on-site technical assistance for troubleshooting and repairs.
Report all activities promptly, including service reports, expense reports, quality alerts, and maintenance reports.
Manage company assets, including service vehicles, parts inventory, tools, and test equipment.

General Job Requirements
Willingness to do overnight travel and operate a forklift.
Work in a plant/warehouse environment with varying conditions.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently.
Ability to differentiate colors.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos regularly, with assistance for heavier loads.
Stand for long periods.
Wear Personal Protective Equipment properly at all times.
Willingness to be on-call.

Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $15.00 - $22.00/hr.
