Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to distinguish true colors.
• Normal hearing and ability to hear tones.
• Climbing poles/ladders up to 60 feet.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 75 pounds; occasional up to 150 pounds.
• Must work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Connects and rearranges cable facilities per engineering design using hand tools and equipment.
• Tests and locates cable trouble with special equipment and performs cable completion tests.
• Climbs poles and works aloft or in manholes, vaults and trenches.
• Maintains safety practices and ensures proper reporting and documentation.
