Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment, LLC is recruiting a Cable Manufacturing Operator for a facility in East Syracuse, NY. The role offers overtime potential and a 5pm–5am rotating shift with a 10% overnight differential.

Responsibilities include monitoring the cable manufacturing line, performing quality inspections, and using hand tools and gauging equipment. Candidates should have at least 1 year of machine shop experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1 year of machine shop experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Must work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with fluctuations in temperature.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Production experience is a plus.

Cable Manufacturing Operator

$19-21/hr DOE plus 10% shift differential for overnight shift

Hours: 5pm-5am

Rotating Shift Schedule

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday; off Wednesday-Friday
• Week 2: Wednesday – Friday; off Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of machine shop experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Previous production experience is a plus
• Must have good hand-eye coordination and be able to follow simple instructions
