Job summary

Gladiatoremergence is seeking a Level 1 Cable Lead at Fort Meade, MD to provide technical leadership for IT cable installation and termination projects. The role requires oversight of training, task tracking, and ensuring team readiness to meet specifications.

Qualifications include 16+ years of hardware cable experience, BICSI Technician certification, and TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance. The position is on-site and involves lifting up to 50 pounds and coordinating complex cabling work.

Qualifications

• Shall have a minimum of sixteen (16) years technical experience in IT cable installation and termination.
• Provide team leadership, engineering, and design knowledge to meet technical specifications.
• In-Depth knowledge of termination equipment, methodologies, and splicing techniques.
• Areas of knowledge must also include: physical ability to lift 50 pounds, cable termination, testing, cable rack preparation, layout and installation, and documentation.
• A valid BICSI Technician certification is required.
• Five additional years of experience may be substituted for certification.

Responsibilities

• The cable lead shall possess the necessary skills to motivate the team, as well as maintain a high level of discipline and respect.

The Level 1 Cable Lead shall possess the capabilities of the Level 2 Cable Technician, in addition to the following:

• Provide technical expertise to team members
