COMMUNICATIONS INSTALL SOLUTIONS INC in Burlingame, CA is seeking an experienced Cable Installer Helper to join our team. You will install and maintain cables for computers, routers, telephone systems, and other electronic equipment, while communicating with customers to understand their needs and project requirements.

The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and able to work with limited supervision. A high school diploma or GED is required, with experience as a cable installer or low-voltage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Cable Installer or low-voltage technician preferred.
• Knowledge of telecommunications and electrical equipment and systems.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to bend, lift heavy objects, and work in small spaces.
• Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to understand their needs
• Assess the project requirements, including design and equipment
• Install cables in homes, commercial, retail, and industrial spaces
• Remove old, damaged, or unnecessary cables and equipment
• Troubleshoot cable and network problems
• Educate customers on basic operating instructions
