Job description

Prince Telecom is hiring entry-level Cable Installation Technicians in South Holland, IL, and Chicago, IL, to join our team and help connect America!

Compensation & Job Type

Compensation: $17/hr+
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

1. Resolve, repair, and install cable TV, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment following guidelines.
2. Set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONTs, routers, and switches.
3. Test and analyze test results on company and customer devices, recording outcomes within prescribed parameters.
4. Interface with customers to identify and resolve issues perceived by them.
5. Drive a company vehicle safely between various locations.
6. Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with necessary equipment.
7. Complete paperwork accurately, including work order updates.

Customer Service Duties

1. Interact professionally and courteously with customers, including handling escalations.
2. Review requested services to ensure customer understanding and agreement.
3. Educate customers on product and service usage.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
