Job summary

Casco Manufacturing in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Production Associate to support the assembly of wire and cable harnesses on 1st shift. You will read product drawings and assemble parts according to specifications, using cutting, crimping, and stripping tools. Candidates with a High School Diploma and basic tools experience are preferred; ERP familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, or demonstrated competency in the skills required for the position.
Experience in wire harness assembly is preferred, but not required.
Ability to read engineering drawings and prints is required.
Previous experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Use cutting, crimping, and stripping equipment or hand tools to modify wire/cable in alignment with product drawing.
Attach connectors and insert connections in alignment with product drawing.
Create, modify, and apply product labels.
Perform inspections and/or testing to ensure product functionality and compliance to drawing.
Other duties as assigned.
