Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks an assembler to perform repetitive or standard electronic and mechanical assemblies under supervision. You will wire, hand solder, harness cables and verify quality per procedures.

Requires a high school diploma with 3+ years' experience, ability to read engineering drawings, soldering/compression tools familiarity, and DoD security clearance eligibility. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists.
• Good understanding of the general aspects of the job with limited technical comprehension.
• Knowledge of computer operations and applications relevant to the position.
• Familiarity with use of soldering and compression connection tools.
• Good color perception.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and may require extended hours.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Sets up and adjusts to specifications.
• Assembles cables, harnesses, chassis, PCBs, or panels.
• Disassembles, modifies, reworks, and reassembles subassemblies.
• Observes laws, regulations and company obligations.
• Works safely per established procedures.
• May assist training lower level assemblers.
• Performs housekeeping after tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
