Job summary

All Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for cable assembly openings in Allentown, PA. Positions are long term and available on 1st or 2nd shift, with pay ranging from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include assembling wire harnesses, prepping, cutting, stripping wires, and applying terminals using hand tools or automated equipment. Qualifying candidates should have basic mechanical skills, be detail oriented, possess good manual dexterity, and be able to read

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills and manual dexterity required.
• Detail oriented with ability to follow blueprints and instruction sheets.
• Ability to identify colors on prints and wires.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wire harnesses and other cable assemblies.
• Prep, cut, and strip wire/cable.
• Apply wire terminals using hand tools and automated equipment.
• Assemble wires and cables based on blueprints, documents, and instruction sheets.
• Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
