Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and five or more years experience.
• Must be customer focused with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists.
• Extensive knowledge in specialized functions and a strong understanding of the job’s technical aspects.
• Good knowledge of computer operations and applications relevant to the position.
• Familiarity with soldering and compression connection tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Makers setups and adjustments holding tolerances to specifications.
• May perform duties in assembly of electronic equipment and cables, harnesses, chassis, PCBs, and mechanical panels.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble and test experimental/prototype assemblies or subassemblies.
• Observes laws, regulations and procedures and works safely.
• Mentors team members and leads where directed.
• Completes disposition on nonconforming product when needed.
• Participates in production IPT and communicates with engineering.
