Job summary

Micro-Coax, an Amphenol Company, seeks a Manufacturing Associate in a PA facility to perform cable production and inspection, ensuring customer requirements are met. You will convert materials, read specifications, and build cables to high quality standards.

You will conduct in-process inspections, record data, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality to improve processes. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in a busy plant environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Willing to cross-train across processes and teams.
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
  • Flexible and able to work overtime to meet orders.
  • Experience with basic hand tools used in cable production.
  • Understanding of blueprints, drawings, and schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Convert raw materials into finished product.
  • Build product to standard rate.
  • Read job order for product specifications.
  • Complete in-process inspections.
  • Interface with computer software to find documents and data entry.
  • Build simple point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions.
  • Maintain quality and safety in all manufacturing steps.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities as needed.
