Job summary

Systel seeks a hands-on Cable Supervisor for our Sugar Land, TX headquarters. You will lead the internal cable assembly team, streamline processes, and ensure on-time delivery while collaborating with the master scheduler, cables buyer, and engineering.

The role requires strong cable assembly experience, supervisory skills, and proficiency in reading drawings and MS Office. You will champion continuous improvement and uphold Systel’s quality and integrity values.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or science.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing and cable assembly experience.
• Ability to read cable assembly drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow cable assembly capacity to meet business needs.
• Develop the internal cable build schedule with the master scheduler and cables buyer.
• Own on-time delivery performance for internal cable builds.
• Lead and develop the cable assembly team and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing.
• Coordinate receipt of cable kits and return of completed products to the warehouse.
• Investigate and implement industry best practices to improve quality and productivity.
• Escalate material shortages to purchasing and assist in other production tasks.
