Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, lay out and perform a variety of intricate wiring on cable, connectors, electrical penetrators; junction boxes and similar equipment.

  • Must be able to read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets and blueprints
  • Must be able to use simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations
  • Must be able to assemble properly from detailed written or verbal instructions
  • Oral/Written Communication – Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Records data; Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.

Education And Experience

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to use basic high school math skills
  • 2-4 years cable assembly experience

Physical Demands

  • Good coordination and flexibility in both hands
  • Move and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. or more
  • Good vision including passing color blindness test

Work Environment

  • Factory environment
  • Second Shift Monday- Thursday 2pm-12:30am

Personal Protective Equipment

  • Use of safety glasses
  • Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers

Training Requirements

  • ERP and Time clock system Overview
  • Teledyne Ethics and Harassment training
  • Hazardous Communications
  • Quality Systems

Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
