Job summary

Nelson Connects in Rohnert Park, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Cable Assembler to join our production team. You will assemble, test, and inspect high-quality cable assemblies, supporting production operations and ensuring components meet strict quality standards.

The role requires soldering experience, English fluency, and the ability to read schematics and work instructions. This on-site position offers a Monday–Friday shift with potential for teamwork across lines and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Soldering experience is required.
• English reading and writing skills are required.
• Experience in cable assembly, electrical work, or manufacturing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tools, wiring and testing equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or with a team.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Standing and walking for most of the shift.
• Manual dexterity for cable assembly and testing tasks.
• Able to work safely in an ESD-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Stripping wires, crimping or soldering contacts, assembling components and testing cables.
• Perform visual inspections and testing to ensure quality and functionality of assemblies.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly or wiring issues, escalating as needed.
• Maintain organized workstations and proper handling of materials.
• Follow all safety guidelines, ESD procedures, and company policies.
• Assist with documentation and reporting of production metrics and quality data.
• Support team members and provide flexibility to work on different assembly lines as needed.

Job description

You are a detail-oriented and reliable Cable Assembler. This role involves assembling, testing, and inspecting high-quality cable assemblies and components, supporting production operations, and ensuring products meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate is adaptable, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and follows safety and compliance procedures.

This position pays: $20/hour. Location: Rohnert Park, CA. Schedule: Monday – Friday 3:30pm – 8:30pm.
