Job summary

Trystar Inc. in Faribault, MN is seeking a Cable Assembler for the 2nd shift to build and inspect cable products in a high-volume environment. You will follow SOPs, use hand tools, and contribute to quality control to ensure safety and performance.

Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, we are in search of a Cable Assembler for our cable line. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. Trystar’s Cable Assembler position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider.

The Cable Assembler proficiently assembles various cable products in a safe manner necessary to manufacture quality cable products within a high-volume cable manufacturing environment.

In this role you will get to:

• Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product.
• Maintain and operate hand tools necessary to set-up, take apart and to operate the equipment.
• Perform required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma
• 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
• Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
• Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection
