DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

Daytona International Speedway is a state-of-the-art motorsports facility, awarded the SportsBusiness Journal's Sports Facility of the Year in 2016. It hosts "The Great American Race" - the DAYTONA 500, along with a diverse schedule of racing events including the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, DAYTONA Supercross, DAYTONA 200 motorcycle classic, and Coke Zero Sugar 400. The complex also hosts various events such as track tours, concerts, car shows, and more.

Job Overview

We are seeking event employees with cable-based TV experience and IPTV network infrastructure repair skills to interact with guests and participants during racing and special events.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect, install, repair, and support cable TV and IPTV infrastructure for large spectator events and track rentals.
2. Collaborate with DIS Operations, Venue Technology, and Event teams for upcoming events.
3. Support cable TV and IPTV in fan areas like the Fan Zone, D500 Club, Garage, Venue Suite, and Grandstand.
4. Install and repair RF and network-based TV infrastructure indoors and outdoors.
5. Assist in adding and replacing indoor and outdoor TVs across the property.
6. Provide support for cable TV and IPTV issues during major events.
7. Support the Event Operations team as needed.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Duties

• Assist team members and support the PA and AV Departments as needed.

Tools and Equipment

• Basic office systems, cellular phones, hand and power tools, lifts.

Attendance

Hours vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Professional communication skills and ability to interact at all organizational levels.
• Positive attitude, effective communication, public speaking skills, good judgment, multitasking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Reliable transportation is required.
