Sean’s Cabinetry, LLC in Minnesota is seeking an Engineer to design and optimize cabinetry solutions that meet customer specs and production realities. You will work with design, production and field teams to ensure manufacturable, functional designs and align with client expectations.

The role covers creating detailed shop drawings, CAD models, and production-ready documentation; evaluating materials for cost and quality; performing basic engineering calculations for load and durability; and

Formación

• Real-world, hands-on experience in cabinetry or millwork engineering is strongly preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in master assembly, installation, or technical design (cabinetry, millwork, construction, or manufacturing preferred).
• Experience working with custom or semi-custom cabinetry or woodworking environments is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborating with the design, production, and field operations teams to create and optimize cabinet designs for manufacturability & functionality while maintaining client expectations.
• Developing and maintaining detailed technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications to support production and installation.
• Conducting material analysis and selecting the most suitable materials for each project, ensuring both cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Performing engineering calculations and assessments to verify the structural integrity and durability of designs.
• Supporting the implementation of the 2-Second Lean Methodology by identifying opportunities for process improvements in design and production.
• Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
• Continuously improving designs by soliciting feedback from the production and installation teams and adapting to evolving customer needs.
