Job summary

STAR is seeking a Cabinetmaker/Builder to design and assemble custom exhibits and retail fixtures. You will read blueprints, fabricate components, and work with a range of woodworking tools to deliver high-quality installations.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of hands-on cabinetmaking experience, familiarity with tradeshow fixtures, and an eye for detail while meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on building and cabinetmaking experience.
• Experience with tradeshow and retail fixtures preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Comfort with power tools and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and build components accordingly.
• Use a variety of power tools to complete tasks.
• Work independently through provided instructions and directions.
• Refurbish exhibit components as needed.
• Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist in set-ups and dismantles as needed.

At this time, STAR has an open position for a Cabinetmaker / Builder. This role plays a critical role in ensuring that our clients’ projects are executed above expectations.

The responsibilities
of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to read blueprints and create/build components accordingly.
• Experience using a variety of power tools.
• Ability to work independently through instructions/directions.
• Refurbish exhibit components.
• Maintain equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist in set-ups and dismantles, as needed.
