Geiger is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to fabricate custom commercial office furniture using wood, granite, glass, and metal components. You will operate machinery and hand tools to assemble conference tables, workstations, reception desks, and credenzas with attention to precision.

The role requires 3-5 years of woodworking experience, ability to interpret shop drawings, and the strength to lift up to 40 lbs. A HS diploma or GED is preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience.

Position Profile

The Cabinetmaker is responsible for the assembly of custom commercial office furniture constructed of wood, granite, glass, metal, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Use various machinery and hand tools to fabricate custom furniture, including conference tables, workstations, reception desks, credenzas, etc.
• Glue, fit and clamp parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit.
• Trim component parts of joints to ensure proper fit.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of woodworking experience, preferably in the furniture industry.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience that demonstrates performance competency.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation range for this role is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, health savings account, dependent day care savings account, life insurance, disability and other insurance plans, paid time off (including vacation and parental leave), holidays, 401(k), short/long term disability, and other special perks.
