Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Technician / Trim Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to work on home remodeling projects in Fenton, MI, and surrounding areas. Local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing.
• Follow instructions from the project manager.
• Complete Trustpoints on every job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, cleaning up daily.
• Communicate daily with the project manager regarding progress.
• Work efficiently and accurately.

Skills:

• Strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Ability to drill for hinges, install doors, drawer fronts, and roll-out trays in cabinets
• Proficient in operating power tools such as table saws, band saws, routers, planers, and nail guns
• Ability to work in Farmington Hills and surrounding communities
• Professional and friendly interaction with customers
• Pride in delivering quality work on the first attempt
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Preferred but Not Required Skills:

• Experience in cabinet refacing
• Experience in cutting moldings
• Ability to install crown molding
