Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a production team member in the United States to join its manufacturing operations in Virginia. The role requires basic carpentry experience, the ability to read a tape measure and calipers, and a commitment to quality and safety.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected and you will follow written or verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred.
• Two to three years of work experience.
• Knowledge and application of safe work practices.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure & calipers.
• Math & computer skills.
• Possess a thorough understanding of all Cabinetworks Group wood character, machining, assembly and finishing
• Read a tape measure and caliper.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Self starter who works effectively without close supervision

Responsibilities

• Must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions.
• Complete work with accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect and audit product processes on incoming product, internal process, product audits and finished product audits
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Work in a safe manner and as part of a team.
• Communicate verbally clearly and concisely.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, perform moderate to heavy repetitive lifting, and stand on feet at least nine hours per day.
• It is an essential function of this position that you report to work on a regular basis.
