Job summary

Boise River Cabinets in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Cabinet Production Assistant/Final Assembly. This full-time role supports cabinetry production by reading shop plans, assembling boxes, and applying hardware to ensure quality before delivery.

You will operate hand tools, maintain a clean workspace, and log progress across stations with the Lead. The schedule is a standard 40-hour week with overtime as needed in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Able to read a tape measure to 1/16.
• Must be personally driven and team oriented.
• Must be able to operate a table saw safely.
• Must be able to operate a chop saw safely.
• Able to remain calm and clear-headed.
• Able to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met.
• Must be able to manage time effectively.
• Must be attention to detail oriented.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Promote teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble drawer and cabinet boxes, read shop plans and apply fillers and backers where needed.
• Operate drill and other hand tools as needed.
• Ensure banding is adhered and quality standards are met.
• Assemble cabinet boxes with hardware and align with shop drawings.
• Complete QA checks prior to delivery.
• Log progress and material needs with the Lead.
• Report production issues with documentation to correct deficiencies.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage labeling of parts.
