Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Buffalo, NY is seeking a Painter and Shop Technician to transform kitchens and enhance customer satisfaction at the Orchard Park location. Bring craftsmanship, attention to detail, and teamwork to contribute to our kitchen solutions.

Responsibilities include cabinet prep, painting, assembly, QC, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while collaborating with the team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a shop or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory and equipment management (organizing, tracking, inspecting shipments, ordering etc).
• Prep and paint/stain cabinet doors and other materials ranging from cabinets to crown.
• Assist in the preparation and assembly of kitchen components and cabinetry.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all products meet our high standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
• Utilize hand, power tools, and saws effectively to complete various tasks such as cabinet assembly.
• Communicate with management regarding inventory needs and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and product knowledge.
• Opportunities to learn carpentry, refacing, and artistic wood restoration.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
