Job summary

Concepts in Millwork is seeking a Millwork Installation Foreman in Englewood, Colorado to lead our installation team and bring custom millwork to life in the field. You will oversee projects and coach installers to meet exacting standards on every site.

You will coordinate with contractors, ensure safety and quality, manage schedules and materials, and drive completion with a high-performing team that values craftsmanship and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years’ installation experience (commercial highly preferred).
  • Thorough knowledge of contract documents, architectural millwork, and installation techniques.
  • Must be educated in industry standards as set by the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI).
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record; ability to travel nationally when needed.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and email applications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Installation Manager in absence of the manager for both Denver and south crews.
  • Coordinate schedules with General Contractors for job-site readiness.
  • Direct installers and resolve field issues with clear communication.
  • Maintain timely and accurate Installation Daily Reports and attend contractor meetings.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and keep documents current on all jobsites.
  • Manage quality standards with the goal of zero punch lists and controlled hours/dollars per project.
  • Oversee turnover schedules and collaborate with Purchasing on material supply.

In this role, you’ll oversee the installation of detailed, high‑end components, ensuring every project meets our exacting standards, while coaching and supporting your team to deliver excellence.

Position Summary

The Installation Assistant Manager administers and manages all facets of the Denver Installation crew from pre‑construction phase through project management, production and product delivery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the daily operations of the Denver Installation crew, scheduling and coordinating installation completion dates per contractor schedules, and conducting annual performance evaluations for direct reports.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assume the responsibilities of the Installation Manager in his absence. Both Denver and south crews.
  • Coordinate schedules with General Contractor pertaining to job site readiness.
  • Direct installers concerning issues and occurrences in the field.
  • Ensure all Installation Daily Reports are accurate and timely.
  • Ensure all General Contractor’s subcontractor meetings are attended.
  • Ensure all required OSHA compliance procedures are observed, and any other required documents are current and accurate on all jobsites.
  • Responsible for strict adherence to quality assurance standards. (Zero punch lists)
  • Ensure compliance with installation targeted hours and dollars per project.
  • Ensure turnover schedules are accomplished.
  • Communicate with the Installation Managers prior to making any decision to increase or decrease the assigned manpower on a project.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing on ordering and maintain adequate levels of installation supplies to support the Installation Dept.
  • Oversee and maintain the installation department’s tool and equipment inventory.
  • Conduct all staff employee evaluations; motivate and lead a high‑performing team; train, develop, evaluate the performance of staff, and provide constructive feedback as needed.

Job Details
  • Salary: $35.00 - $42.00 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
  • Job Type: Full‑time, Monday–Friday, Hours vary based on business need (with overtime as needed).

  • Reaching – reach up to heights of 60 inches to position and retrieve needed materials.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently work in outside weather conditions. Noise level is usually quiet while in the office, or moderate to high when in the shop or field.
