The Opportunity

We're seeking a Cabinet & Mill Shop Manager to lead our growing cabinetry and millwork division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced craftsperson and leader to shape a department from the ground up, collaborate with company leadership, and help define the quality standards and client experience that set Sacred Oak Homes apart.

You will work closely with our President, Project Manager, and General Manager to expand our in-house capabilities, manage production schedules, and oversee the design, fabrication, and installation of high-end cabinetry and millwork projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the cabinetry and millwork shop, ensuring efficiency, safety, and craftsmanship.
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with the design and construction teams to align cabinetry work with overall project goals.
  • Use company-provided software and equipment to design and estimate cabinetry projects.
  • Manage cabinetry installations and coordinate with field teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, architects, designers, contractors, and clients.
  • Stay current on design software (experience with 2020 Design a plus), materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings with the leadership team.
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction through clear communication and high-quality results.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing a cabinet or millwork shop.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance design vision with practical fabrication and installation methods.
  • Proficiency with design and estimating software (2020 Design or similar preferred).
